JS International re-launches Bag Boy
The Bag Boy golf bag, travel cover and trolley brand is returning the UK and Irish market for the first time since 2009. The brand is being re-introduced back by golf distributor JS International, and the company expects Bag Boy to make a real impact in golf stores this year. Established in 1945, Bag Boy is a premium brand in the America and throughout mainland Europe due to its quality and patented designs.
JS International is offering a wide and varied range of Bag Boy products including golf bags, travel covers and accessories with retail prices starting from £75 to £209. Some of Bag Boy’s bestselling items include the Revolver cart bag, a range of waterproof cart and stand bags and the T-10, the T-2000 and Hybrid TC travel covers.
Revolver cart bag
The Revolver bag has a patented feature that allows the golfer to access any club simply by rotating the top 360 degrees. Featuring ‘clip-lok’ technology, clubs can also be locked into place for added protection. The Revolver provides good organisation with a 14-way top featuring a boomerang design to separate woods from irons, and full length individual dividers. The bag has a total of eight pockets for ample storage including an oversized removable cooler pocket and two external putter tubes.
Technowater cart and stand bags
Bag Boy also has an excellent range of high quality waterproof cart and stand bags. The Techno Water cart bag is designed with nine functional waterproof pockets which provide ample storage. The bag has a 14-way divider and is available in four different colours. The Techno Water stand bag also comes in a variety of colours again with a 14-way divider and five functional waterproof pockets which include an insulated pocket for drinks.
T-10 Hard Top travel cover
Since entering the travel bag market in 2000, Bag Boy now offers a wide and varied range of travel bags.
The T-10 travel bag has a compact storage design with a hard top travel cover offering maximum protection to golf clubs. Features include an all-weather polyester body, easy lifting handles, side pockets, plenty of storage space and wheels for easy transportation. When it is not being used, the main body of the travel cover can be easily packed into the hard top for compact storage.
T-2000 travel cover
The T-2000 uses premium material to ensure club security. The new T-2000 showcases a patented pivot-grip handle allowing the handle to rotate 360 degrees, making it simple to navigate.
Hybrid TC travel cover
The Hybrid TC is a two in one solution for the travelling golfer as it is both a golf bag and a travel cover. The hard top and body are both crush resistant and it features a nine inch, five-way top with full length dividers. The detachable oversized garment pockets are ideal for golfing use as they include a large capacity ball pocket. The bag even features smooth rolling in-line skate wheels for easy travel.
A JS International spokesperson commented, “We are very excited to add yet another prestigious brand to our portfolio. With over 21 years’ experience in the golfing industry, JS International has constantly strived to deliver the greatest quality brands at the very best prices and Bag Boy delivers on just this.”
The Bag Boy range will be available to order from JS International from late April onwards but products can be pre-ordered now. A full list of products will be listed in the 2015 JS International brochure and on the company website from April.

Swing Caddie SC100 is value launch monitor
JS International is now distributing the Swing Caddie SC100 billed as the best value launch and swing monitor on the market. Produced by the makers of the Voice Caddie range of DMDs – also distributed by JS International – the SC100 allows golfers to measure how far they hit each club, boosting confidence in club selection. It monitors the swing speed, ball speed and smash factor for each swing taken.
To operate the golfer sets the Swing Caddie up between one and 1.5 metres behind the ball and swing. The SC100’s interface will then display the swing metrics and it stores them too, so the golfer can review average distance, speed and smash factor at the end of the day. A convenient remote control allows the golfer to scroll between training modes or review their performance without them having to leave the ball and change their set-up.
The Swing Caddie offers three unique practice modes: Practice, Target and Random.
Practice mode stores and displays shot distance, swing speed, ball speed and smash factor, as well as time played and total shot count.
Target mode allows golfers to set a target distance to improve their consistency. After each shot, Swing Caddie will display shot distance, swing speed, ball speed, smash factor and a score out of 10, to show players how close they were to their target distance.
Random mode sets random target distance to really challenge distance control and accuracy. Swing Caddie displays the first random distance and waits for the golfer to swing. After each shot, Swing Caddie will display the shot distance, swing speed, ball speed, smash factor, and a score out of 10. And after a few seconds, it will switch the display to the next random target distance.
A spokesman for JS International said, “This standalone device which is for great driving range sessions requires no phone app and once purchased there are no additional fees or hidden costs.” The SC100 is available in black or white and has a RRP of £219.
