Wrekin GC invests in new kit

Wrekin Golf Club, near Telford has invested in a new John Deere 8700a precision mower and also a John Deere 2635b tees mower. The club has also taken delivery of four new Club Car golf carts to further extend the existing fleet.

Recently the club has strengthened its administration and finance team, taken on an apprentice within its greenstaff team and refurbished the old pro shop into a fully stocked golf reception suite to meet the needs of the modern golfer. Membership is increasing with the subscription fees being frozen for the last two years.

Tim Stubbs, club captain stated, “We will continue to invest in the course and its membership. This purchase is the first of several projects over the next twelve months”. More at: www.wrekingolfclub.co.uk
