World of Leading Golf Guide published online

Golfers looking to be assured of a venue with the highest standards, on and off the course, should pick up The first World of Leading Golf Guide, now available online. World of Leading Golf (WLG) – previously known as Leading Golf Courses of Europe – is an international community of member golf clubs fully committed to upholding the very highest levels of quality. And the new publication is designed not just as an index of the 30 member clubs, but also as a travel guide and stamp of assurance for visiting golfers.

Claus Feldt, WLG’s general manager explained, “World of Leading Golf is designed to be a stamp of quality and clubs are only afforded membership if they continue to maintain the high standards we set. This is quantified by a series of mystery shopper tests we undertake throughout the year, which enables us to guarantee the experience a visitor will receive. And our inaugural guide provides details of all the current member clubs – with contact details, course stats, costs and any applicable supplementary information – to enable the discerning golfer to make a choice based not on a pretty picture on the web, but an in-depth and quantifiable independent analysis.

“Golfers can rest assured that venues displaying the World of Leading Golf logo have been tested and approved, and our mark is a guarantee of the highest levels of quality. The guide is available at all member clubs and online, so anybody can benefit from it. The organic growth of World of Leading Golf, with members joining throughout the year, will necessitate an update of this guide and it is our intention to produce a second edition ahead of the International Golf Travel Market, which takes place in Tenerife, in October.” The new World of Leading Golf Guide can be viewed at http://bit.ly/1PkFPnc
