Wilson Golf strengthens sales team again

Wilson Golf has recently appointed two Area Sales Managers to further strengthen its position in the market place across the UK & Ireland, following the appointment of Lee Farrar as Senior Sales Manager last month.

James Soulsby and Mark O’Neill (pictured) are set to begin new roles this month and complete the full complement of team members ready to visit every customer in the near future.

James, a 3-handicap golfer based in Hampshire, was most recently Area Sales Manager for the South West and South East of England at adidas & Ashworth Golf (2011-2015). He will take on responsibilities for sales of Wilson Staff products across the South West of England and South Wales.

“It’s great to be back working within the golf industry which I know so well,” said James. “Wilson Golf is such an historic brand and I’m looking forward to renewing relationships and building new ones as the future of Wilson Golf looks very bright.”

Another 3-handicap golfer, Mark will assume his new role for Wilson Golf in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland following his time at PING Europe (2013-2016) as a Product Specialist. Previous roles include five years in retail at McGuirks Golf Centre in County Dublin and two years at American Golf.

“I’m proud to be part of the team responsible for the continued growth of the Wilson Staff brand in the market place,” said Mark. “I’ve built up strong relationships over the years I’ve worked in the golf industry and look forward to carrying that on with Wilson Golf.”

Under Wilson Staff branding, Wilson Golf supplies clubs, balls, bags, accessories, luggage, package sets and apparel, backed up by the UK warehouse based in Irvine, where balls can be logoed, clothing embroidered and customised clubs fitted all under the same roof in short lead times.

James and Mark are available to contact by email at james.soulsby@amersports.com and mark.oneill@amersports.com respectively. For more information on the range, visit www.wilson.com
