Watson signs with Volvik

Bubba Watson has signed a one-year agreement with golf ball supplier Volvik for the 2017 season.

The two-time Masters winner will switch from Titleist Pro V1x to use the Volvik S4, which is designed for high swing speeds. One of the most noticeable things about the brand is the colour of some of the company’s balls, something which Watson said was an added attraction.

The current world number ten said: “Right now, I have five dozen (pink) and five dozen of the Blue Pearl,” he said. “I’ll probably just rotate. It’s more fun to rotate. White ball one day, pink ball, and then if I get the lime one, rotate that into the rounds each week.”
