Two more victories for Nippon Shaft

Nippon Shaft recorded victories on Sunday in two major men’s tours – the European PGA Tour’s Nedbank Golf Challenge and the inaugural Ho Tram Open in Vietnam on the Asian Tour.

At the Nedbank Golf Challenge in Sun City, South Africa, the 32-year-old Australian earned a 6-shot victory using Nippon Shaft’s N.S. PRO MODUSTour 130 steel shafts in his irons and wedges. The 26th-ranked player in the world shot 19-under par 269 on rounds of 68-68-66-67 en route to his first European Tour victory.

Meanwhile, in Vietnam, the 35-year-old Spaniard won on the second-hole of a sudden death playoff at the first Ho Tram Open, using Nippon Shaft N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 130 steel shafts in his irons and wedges. The world’s No. 12-ranked player shot 14-under par 270 in regulation with 66-68-68-68, and made birdie, par to prevail in the four-man playoff.

“Nippon Shaft congratulates the winners in two of this week’s premier tournaments in men’s golf,” said Hiro Fukuda, Sales and Marketing for Nippon Shaft. “As always, we take tremendous pride in the fact that the winners decided to use Nippon Shaft products when going into battle against the world’s toughest competition.”

In recent years, Nippon Shaft has been making inroads on the PGA TOUR with shafts designed for tour pros and low-handicap amateurs. For years, Nippon Shaft has been the most popular steel shaft on the LPGA Tour, thanks to its ability to manufacture a shaft that combines lightweight and sturdiness, which ensures maximum control.

Over the years, Nippon Shaft recorded hundreds of victories on professional golf tours worldwide, as the best players in the world increasingly chose to install in their irons steel shafts manufactured in Japan to unparalleled quality standards.

Nippon Shaft products are available globally either as stock or custom shafts in many of the world’s top iron brands. Nippon Shaft products are available through Nippon Shaft’s dedicated global club fitter network.
