Titleist launches ball loyalty scheme for 2017

Titleist is reaffirming its support for Titleist Golf Ball Partners and golfers with the latest iteration of the Pro V1 family of golf balls, by offering its Loyalty Rewarded promotion once again in 2017.

The popular scheme will offer golfers who purchase three dozen Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf balls one dozen free, including a free personalised message on all balls.

As in previous years, Loyalty Rewarded provides Titleist retailers with an opportunity to repay customers who loyally trust their game to the Pro V1 and Pro V1x, helping to generate incremental business and providing a valuable incentive for repeat purchasing.

Titleist will also be providing retailers with digital and in-store POS merchandising to ensure consumers are fully aware of the benefits of the campaign, as well as conducting activity with key publications and platforms across the UK golf media landscape to further enhance awareness.

An addition to the promotion this year is the opportunity for golfers to choose their own ‘Special Play Number’ to feature on all balls purchased. Golfers will be able to select any number, including 00 and all digits from 1-99, allowing them to play with a golf ball which reflects a significant or lucky number.

Michael Creighton, Titleist Golf Ball Manager, said: “The Loyalty Rewarded promotion is a fantastic way for us to support our Ball Partners, providing golfers with yet another reason to stock up on the #1 Ball in Golf at the start of the 2017 golfing season.

“The promotion allows retailers to reward Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x loyalists, creating the potential for repeat business and even stronger relationships with regular customers. The addition of Special Play numbers in the promotion for 2017 is especially exciting, and we expect that the opportunity to choose a personally-significant play number will be extremely popular with Pro V1 and Pro V1x players who want to stand out within their four-ball.”

The Loyalty Rewarded promotion will start from 13th March with the last date for purchases being 24th April. A maximum of one dozen will be offered free per customer.
