Ian Bonser, Owner of 3 Hammers Golf Complex knows short courses can attract new golfers and will share his secrets to developing an award winning business at GolfBIC 2017.

The session, entitled ‘Award Winning Formula for Golf Success’ will be led by Bonser, Owner of the ‘National Award Winning’ 3 Hammers Golf Complex for the past 30 years together with his two Academy Directors, Rob Bluck and John Cheetham, who will explain how they have developed a successful and profitable business, attracting hundreds of new golfers to the game each year. 3 Hammers is an exemplary golf venue offering unique facilities and this session is an excellent opportunity to learn best practice in attracting, growing and maintaining golf participation.

3 Hammers Golf Complex in Wolverhampton, won the prestigious Critchley award from the Golf Foundation in May 2016 in recognition of their significant impact in the development of grass roots junior golf. Due to their success in attracting new players are now recognised as a national example of good practice by industry bodies such as England Golf, the PGA and the Golf Foundation.

They celebrated their success in spectacular style by flying the staff by helicopter to a star studded event at Wentworth where they were presented with the award by Golf Foundation president Sandy Jones.

GolfBIC will take place on the 17th and 18th of January 2017 at the Harrogate International Centre in conjunction with the BTME show and is designed to attract golf course owners and operators, secretary’s & general managers and other golf club operational staff to learn, network and get inspiration and ideas to help grow your golf club business.
