Tewkesbury Park appoints new head greenkeeper

Tewkesbury Park has appointed Chris Bromley as its new head greenkeeper. Bromley previously worked at The Belfry and most recently was first assistant at Birmingham’s Robin Hood Golf Course, where he helped to oversee a range of extensive course construction and drainage programmes and organise a number of high profile golf events.

A keen golfer with a handicap of one, Bromley will be responsible for ensuring that Tewkesbury Park’s 18 hole, par 72 championship course is well maintained all year round for players of all abilities. The Tewkesbury Park course was designed in 1976 by champion amateur golfer and golf architect Frank Pennink and features a variety of testing holes through mature wooded areas with views of the surrounding Cotswold and Malvern Hills.

Chris Mcintosh, managing director stated, “Chris has already made some noticeable improvements to the definition of the course.”
