TaylorMade thanks retail partners as M2 tops charts

TaylorMade Golf have reported a very strong start to 2017 in the UK market for the all-new M Family of metalwoods and Irons. Following the recent Golfdatatech UK audit report (February 2017), TaylorMade claimed top spot as number one selling Metalwoods brand with 32 per cent Value Share and 30 per cent unit share, with the M2(17) Driver, Fairway and Rescue achieving three of the top four selling metalwood models (unit share).

The M2(17) Family also took centre stage in the four major categories with more golfers having bought M2(17) Drivers, Fairways, Hybrid and Irons than any other competitor model. In the Irons category, M2(17) Irons also took #1 position (value and units share).

The success of the all-new M Family has also been seen on Tour with 10 worldwide wins in nine weeks and a continued stronghold over Driver counts in the 2017 season, with marquee players including World #1 Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia switching straight into the product.
