TaylorMade Golf announce staff players for 2016

TaylorMade Golf Company has announced the expansion of its Tour Staff players for the 2016 season. Among the list of professionals signing new equipment deals to represent TaylorMade-adidas Golf on the European Tour include Victor Dubuisson, Joost Luiten, Fabrizio Zanotti, Pelle Edberg, Joakim Lagergren, John Parry and Nacho Elvira.

Most notable amongst this list of new player signings is Ryder Cup hero, Victor Dubuisson and four time European Tour winner, Joost Luiten.

Dubuisson turned professional in 2010 after enjoying a successful amateur career that saw him reach the heights of the number one ranked amateur in France. Claiming his first professional win in 2013 at the Turkish Airlines Open, Dubuisson went on to a second place finish at the 2014 WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship which saw him famously battle it out against Jason Day. Following this, Dubuisson made his debut in the 2014 Ryder Cup for the winning European team and he captured his most recent European Tour win in 2015 at the Turkish Airlines Open.

Dubuisson’s multi-year contract will include the following:
• 12 TaylorMade clubs
• TaylorMade staff bag, golf ball, glove & headwear
• adidas Golf footwear

Also amongst the new player signings is Holland’s number 1 ranked player, Joost Luiten. A multiple winner on the European Tour Luiten announced himself with his maiden victory at the 2011 Iskander Johor Open. Luiten continued the winning habit in 2013 by picking up the Lyoness Open and his national championship, the KLM Open. 2014 saw Luiten collect his fourth title on the European Tour at the ISPS Handa Wales Open. This was the beginning of a stellar year which culminated in a career high official golf world ranking of number 28.

“As we look to further strengthen our number one position on both the PGA and European Tour, we are delighted to welcome our newest signings to the TaylorMade-adidas Golf family. By adding multiple winners such as Victor Dubuisson and Joost Luiten to an already strong European line-up, we position ourselves for a hugely successful 2016 season,” commented Chris Trott, Director of Global Tours for Global Sports Marketing.
