Strong performance for The Trendy Sports Agency

The Trendy Sports Agency (TSA) is set to make further inroads in the world of sports fashion after an impressive performance in 2016.

With a collection of the world’s leading brands already signed up, others are now set to follow in January and beyond, after seeing the success of the agency’s 360-degree market solution.

Top brands including Wolsey, Dunning, G/FORE, Royal Albartross, Jones Golf Bags, Alfred Dunhill Links and Flexfit caps were featured in a series of pop-up showrooms across the UK and Ireland, allowing retailers to make informed decisions.

TSA director Louis Wolcott has seen the company grow to reach 80 accounts within the space of a year, with St Andrews Links, Skibo Castle, Gleneagles, Trump Resorts, Kingsbarns, Loch Lomond, Wentworth and Beaverbrook among the growing list of clients.

Wolcott said: “The general feedback was fantastic. Buyers really appreciated seeing multiple premium brands set up in a professional showroom and in a ‘shop-in-shop’ environment. There is a very positive outlook for 2017 and beyond.”

TSA supports its client roster with an integrated sales network, developing business and growth of customer base through extensive and relevant retail channels, including department stores, pro shops and leading resorts. Some of the agency’s brands also benefit from complete management of marketing, PR and product placement.

Kevin Liddle, retail manager at St Andrews Links Golf Shops Ltd, said: “The Trendy Sports Agency set-up for the showroom was very professional with a good range of products. It was well merchandised and easy for the buyers to view all the collections in one environment.”

Stuart Martin, PGA professional at Loch Lomond, said: “It was a very professional set-up with an array of the highest quality products. Trendy Sports Agency knows the products inside out and offers great advice on product choice and logo personalisation.”

With new brands set to be unveiled on January 1, the sales season kicks off on January 9, launching at Urban Golf London, followed by a visit to Wentworth showroom from January 16-18.

TSA – which has recently recruited a territory manager for Scotland and Ireland – will also be at the PGA show in Orlando, from January 25-27, 2017.
