Senden clinches victory with TaylorMade and Titleist

John Senden secured a one shot victory over Kevin Na in the Valspar Championship on 16 March played at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. Senden is a TaylorMade golf tour professional and used a 12 degree SLDR 430 driver off the tees with a Titleist Pro V1 ball. The Australian closed with a final round of 70 holing the winning putt with his Ghost Monte Carlos putter.

The win is Senden’s second career US PGA Tour victory and first since the 2006 John Deere Classic. With the victory, Senden moves from 83rd to 14th in the FedExCup standings and players using Titleist golf balls have now won twelve events so far on the 2013-14 US PGA Tour season, six times more than the nearest competitor.
