Rodgers turns pro and signs with Nike

Patrick Rodgers, the top-ranked amateur in the world, has signed with Nike on turning professional. He will play his first pro tournament at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut this week, using Nike Golf clubs, ball, footwear, glove, bag, apparel, headwear and accessories.

The 21 year old attended Stanford University and recently received the 2014 Haskins Award, given to the outstanding collegiate male golfer of the year. Rodgers was also a member of the 2011 and 2013 US Walker Cup teams.
