Revenue boost for QHotels

Recently released figures show that QHotels, the UK’s largest golf resort operator, is outperforming its rivals in the golf sector.

The figures, from UK-based HotStats, the only provider of a monthly hotel profit-and-loss benchmark service, show an impressive upturn in revenue for the brand which has ten golf resorts in England and Scotland.

Golf revenue per available room has increased at QHotels by 7.3 year on year, while HotStats has indicated the brand’s key competitors’ have seen theirs decline by 2.4 per cent over the same period. Similarly, the revenue per golf hole has also increased by 7.3 per cent year on year, while key competitors have fallen by around six per cent.

Alan Foley, QHotels’ group golf sales and marketing manager, said: “QHotels is continuing to reap the benefits of investing in its product and its people. We’re encouraged by the growth in our figures, but certainly not content, so we will continue to do everything we can to make QHotels the first name people think of when looking to book a four-star golf break.”
