Premier Licensing signs James Heath to TravisMathew

Premier Licensing, one of the leading suppliers of golf and sports accessories in Europe, have announced the signing of James Heath to be the first player to wear TravisMathew apparel since they took on distribution for UK & Ireland.

Resurgent Englishman Heath, whose recent victory in the Challenge Tour’s SSE Hydro Challenge sees him ideally placed to regain his full European Tour status for the 2017 campaign, will wear a selection of the brands apparel from both SS16 and Fall16 collections as he competes on The European Challenge Tour in 2016.

Commenting on teaming up with Premier Licensing and wearing TravisMathew, Heath said: “I’m delighted to be wearing TravisMathew. I had seen their products on the PGA Tour and always wondered when they would be available in the U.K. I’m honoured to be the first European player to wear the brand’s products in conjunction with the guys at Premier Licensing.”

Heath joins an illustrious list of players wearing TravisMathew apparel on tour including PGA Tour Professionals Keegan Bradley, Luke List, Chris Kirk, Charley Hoffman, Stuart Appleby, Sam Saunders, Andres Gonzalez and Patrick Cantlay, among others.

“We have enjoyed great initial success with the brand for both SS16 and Fall 16 collections,” said Ross Methven, Director of Premier Licensing, “particularly among resorts and courses with high numbers of US visitors, but our real focus is on the Spring/Summer 2017 collection and bringing the TravisMathew brand to market using the same principles that have served us so well with PRG. We believe that James is the perfect fit for TravisMathew and are confident that the exposure he will bring us on tour going forwards will take the TravisMathew SS17 collection to an even wider audience.”

Sold in over 1,000 of the top Country Clubs across the United States, the range of golf apparel products is now available in the UK and Ireland via Premier Licensing’s extensive and well-established wholesale network.
