PGA Fashion & Demo Experience announces Pro-Pro Tournament $20,650 purse

Registration is now open for the 2016 PGA Fashion & Demo Experience Pro-Pro Tournament, held Monday, Aug. 15, at Cascata Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The tournament offers a $20,650 purse, including a first-place prize of $5,000 to the winning team and new chipping and putting contest. A $100 per-hole Skins Game, plus additional Closest to the Pin and Long Drive contests, also will be offered.

“The annual Pro-Pro Tournament has become a popular event to kick off the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience,” said PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions Senior Vice President and General Manager Ed Several. “Cascata offers a challenging, but fun, host site and the number of contests and prizes make for an exciting day of competition. After a great day of golf, PGA and LPGA Professionals can stay for the PGA Outdoor Demo Experience to test the newest equipment, attend a short-game instructional workshop and network with peers while they enjoy live music and a bbq.”

The 2016 Pro-Pro Tournament field is limited to 50 two-person teams in a four-ball, stroke-play format beginning with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. PGA and LPGA Professionals may register as a team or tournament organizers will help match single players into teams.

PGA and LPGA Professionals can take advantage of early registration savings, $165 per player through June 15, 2016. After June 15, the registration fee is $190 per player. The tournament registration fee includes golf, forecaddie, breakfast, lunch, gift bag and round-trip bus transportation from The Venetian. The tournament fee also includes automatic registration for the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience. Tournament details regarding eligibility, format, rules, purse breakdown and prize presentation are available at PGALasVegas.com/ProPro.
