Oscar Jacobson release SS17 collection

Oscar Jacobson have released their Spring/Summer 17 collection which embraces the growing desire among golfers for fashionable attire that looks equally at home on and off the course.

Torex Fieldsensor, which features in a number of spring/summer 2017 polo shirts, boasts a number of attributes to enhance comfort and performance through the warmer months. It disperses perspiration more efficiently and quickly by wicking it from the body side of the fabric to a broader area of the outer side, where it can then evaporate and diffuse more rapidly. It is also blessed with premium UV-cut and anti-penetration properties, markedly reducing the amount of potentially harmful UV rays that penetrate the fabric, and bringing excellent levels of skin protection to golfers who may be out in bright sunlight for several hours.

The headline Fieldsensor shirt will be the Ivo Pin, a classic pique-knit, flat-knit collar polo available in five colours, with Egon, available in four colours, featuring a similar construction in a design that also boasts striking colour contrast panels across the upper chest. Alric is a pique-knit polo in three colours with a stiff flat-knit collar and eye-catching sleeve and collar accents, while the Ace polo shirt, available in three colours, completes the collection.

Merino Cashwool

Among the spring/summer 2017 collection garments to provide an effective and stylish solution on such days are the classic Wyatt V-neck sweater and Rutger V-neck slipover, both woven from Cashwool, a 100 per cent extrafine merino wool and available in a wider colour palette than ever before.

This high-performing wool is crafted by Baruffa at its Borgosesia plant in northern Italy, with Cashwool using only the very finest parts of the fleece to create a soft, fluffy and luxurious-feeling yarn that blends aesthetic beauty with top-quality performance. Wyatt and Rutger offer classic OJ Sport styling with full fashion details around the collar, plus additional sleeve inserts on Wyatt, with both performing equally well as ideal top layers on milder spring days, or perfect mid-layers when temperature or wind chill demands another layer on top. New for 2017 are Wyatt Pin and Wyatt Tour, versions of the Cashwool sweaters with either a pin or Tour logo.

With the top half taken care of, that just leaves OJ Sport’s comprehensive spring/summer 2017 trouser collection to take care of the lower half via three Slim Fit options plus the Classic Fit Greg.

Over the years Oscar Jacobson have perfected our trouser designs with innovative cuts and functional fabrics for maximum performance, better fit and enhanced comfort. Brent, Dave/Dave Tour and Laurent make up the Slim Fit line for 2017, with Laurent featuring the thinnest bottom width at 37cm. This flat front, roundpressed polyester-rich trouser comes in four colours, with an articulated leg, a 4-way stretch and a stretch waistband bringing added comfort and an optimum fit for golf.
