Nippon Shaft record more victories

Nippon Shaft  recently recorded victories on two of the world’s biggest pro tours – one at the PGA TOUR’s RSM Classic at Sea Island, Georgia; the other at the LPGA Tour’s CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

The 31-year-old native of South Carolina claimed his first PGA TOUR victory using Nippon Shaft N.S. PRO MODUS Tour 120 TX flex steel shafts in his irons and MODUS Wedge shafts in his wedges. He fired a tournament record 22-under par 260, shooting 64-64 on the weekend on the Seaside course at the Sea Island Resort. He took a 3-shot lead into the final round and won by six. The University of Georgia graduate won $1,026,000 and will receive an invitation to The Masters.

Meanwhile, at the LPGA’s season finale, the 38-year-old two-time major champion used the Nippon Shaft N.S. PRO 950GH steel shafts with the SR flex in her irons and wedges to finish at 17-under par 271 to win by a stroke. She shot four rounds in the 60s, including a final-round 68. In the final round, she birdied No. 15 to tie for the lead and made eagle on No. 17 to get into first place.
