New marketing manager has Foresight

Foresight Sports Europe has appointed Tom Jarrett-Kerr to the newly created post of marketing manager. German-born Jarrett-Kerr, 31, had spent the last nine years with Amer Sports, where he rose from the position of technical representative with Wilson Golf in 2006, to the role of marketing manager EMEA, for Wilson Racket & Team Sports, based in Munich.

A creative, results-focussed individual, Jarrett-Kerr has an excellent track record of achievement in sports marketing in both the B2B and B2C sectors – a prerequisite for his new challenge with Foresight Sports Europe, the exclusive distributor for the Game Changer 2 (GC2) launch monitor, Head Measurement Technology (HMT) and Foresight golf simulator across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The two-handicapper, who spent his formative years in Surrey, said, “Golf was always my first love and the chance to get back into the industry, after four years on a wider sports brief, proved just too tempting. It was also an opportunity to work within a smaller company which is really making waves in the industry – and that sort of challenge really does appeal to me and I am really excited to see where a new marketing strategy can help to take the business.”

Ed Doling, Foresight Sports Europe’s sales director, welcomed Jarrett-Kerr to the company and said, “We have expanded rapidly since we introduced the Foresight technology range to the European market back in 2010; so rapidly, in fact, that we have created a real need for a dedicated internal marketing team.
