Mizuno unveils AW15 collection

Mizuno is continuing the European roll out of its ‘Mizuno Pro’ line with a new apparel collection announced for Autumn/Winter 2015. The collection continues Mizuno’s shift to more luxurious blend of fabrics, and multiple lightweight layers. The use of multiple lightweight layers allows players to adapt to varying winter conditions throughout 18 holes, with minimal swing disruption.

The blend of natural and technical fabrics is possibly best demonstrated by Mizuno’s Breath Thermo/merino wool Argyle sweater, combining the soft touch of fine Merino wool with Breath Thermo’s ability to generate heat.

Dalton Melnyk, apparel manager for Mizuno commented, “We set ourselves the benchmark of aligning the apparel collection to the properties of our irons – quality materials, precise construction and timeless design. With the colour palette of wild berries and ink blues, combined with the soft touch of these high end materials, there’s a ‘grown up’ feel to this collection that serious players will be drawn to.”

The collection will be worn by Englishman Chris Wood on the PGA European Tour with first deliveries to selected outlets scheduled for September 2015.
