Mizuno to exhibit new MP irons and S5 wedges

Mizuno has confirmed its attendance at the second Irish Golf Expo this November where they will display their new MP irons and S5 wedges.

Autumn 2015 has seen three exciting product launches from golf’s most sought-after iron brand – the MP-5 iron, the MP-25 iron and the S5 wedge. Mizuno has committed to bringing these eagerly anticipated newcomers in front of a wide audience of Irish golf fans at the second Irish Golf Expo following the event’s successful debut in 2014.

This year’s Irish Golf Expo will take place from November 28-29 at THE EIKON Exhibition Centre, Balmoral Park, Lisburn City, just off the M1 and only 14 miles from the centre of Belfast. Following the success of last year’s event, it is anticipated that over 10,000 attendees will visit Ireland’s largest golf exhibition. Mizuno will be offering visitors the chance to try out its latest clubs in the Mizuno bays on the Expo’s range, or even enjoy a personal fitting session with a Mizuno club technician.

The new MP-25 irons build on the success of the JPX 850 Forged, bringing the proven ball speed advantages of boronfuelled technology to Mizuno’s MP line-up for the first time. The new MP-5 is then neither blade nor cavity, but rather a revolutionary channelback, a forged iron that retains sufficient thickness behind the central impact point to deliver the blade-like feel better players crave on pure strikes, while allowing enough clubhead mass to be relocated to parts of the head where it can tangibly increase clubhead stability and performance on off-centre strikes.

Stewart Kyle of Hawkeye Management stated, “We are delighted to welcome Mizuno on board as a partner of this year’s Irish Golf Expo. Over the years Mizuno is a brand closely associated with the world’s top golfers. The Irish Golf Expo will provide golfers with an unrivalled opportunity find out more about Mizuno’s latest product range. Their team of expert technicians will be offering a full demo and custom fit experience – vital for all golfers wanting to improve their game.”
