Mizuno provides different bats for Lyth

Left-handed Yorkshire and England cricket opener, Adam Lyth, has enjoyed a full Performance Centre club-fitting experience from Mizuno, the Japanese equipment manufacturer of forged golf clubs. He was fitted for a full set of clubs by James Whitaker in the Mizuno Performance Centre at Moor Allerton Golf Club near Leeds.

Lyth ended up with almost a full complement of JPX clubs, (JPX 850 driver, three wood and hybrid, JPX 850 forged irons and MP-T5 wedges) enthusing about the Moor Allerton set-up on his Twitter feed and admitting that he “can’t wait to use them”.

The JPX 850 driver features Mizuno’s ‘Next Generation FastTrack’ sliding weight system that allows golfers to tailor clubhead set-up to their personal launch conditions, while the JPX irons are boron-forged, for a thinner clubface to boost ball speeds. MP-T5 wedges, inspired by the tour grind of short-game maestro, Luke Donald, are available in 25 loft and bounce combinations, with two sole types to suit differing techniques and playing conditions.
