Mark King has been appointed President of adidas Group North America effective 1st June, 2014. King who was formerly TaylorMade-adidas Golf CEO will take charge of all adidas and Reebok operations in North America.
King who started with TaylorMade as a sales rep in the early 1980’s has seen adidas golf become the largest and most profitable golf business in the world with revenues of $1.7 billion.
King will continue to oversee the TaylorMade-adidas Golf business with Group CEO Herbert Hainer. Current Executive Vice President of adidas Golf and Ashworth, Ben Sharpe will take over from King as the new CEO of Taylor Made adidas golf.
