MacGregor package sets proving to be a success

MacGregor, one of the oldest and most prestigious brands in the world golf, is offering package sets for beginner and improving golfers; whether male, female or junior. The comprehensive MacGregor range includes full and half sets as well as package sets for aspiring young golfers.

Graeme Stevens, Managing Director, commented: “We have enjoyed great success with all our MacGregor package sets. We are among one of the only brands to continue to offer package sets and have great depth to our range. Therefore we are perfectly positioned to help pros and retailers looking for affordable, yet quality, sets for beginner, junior or improving golfers.”

The MacGregor entry level CG1900 offers unrivalled value at RRP £249 in steel and £270 in graphite. The 11-piece package set features driver, fairway wood, hybrid, irons from 6-SW, putter and golf bag. With the choice of steel or graphite shafts in the irons and stand or cart bag, the options are endless.

The premium MacGregor DCT package set, with an RRP of £349 in steel and £379 in graphite, offers the same multitude of options as the CG1900, but features a PVD plated Titanium driver, stainless steel woods including additional hybrid, oversized cavity back irons from 5-SW; making it the ultimate beginner or improving golfer package set.

For golfers not looking for a full set of clubs, MacGregor also offers both men and ladies half sets featuring a low profile fairway wood, hybrid, #6, #8 and PW irons, putter and stand bag in the CG1900 range. With a RRP of £149 men (steel/graphite) and £159 ladies (all graphite)

Junior package sets complete the product line-up; each designed in age appropriate categories to ensure the right clubs for size and strength. The junior package sets start from ages 3-5 years (RRP £89) and go up to 9-12 years (RRP £119).

Since 1897, MacGregor has provided top-quality equipment to every type of golfer, from avid amateurs to history’s greatest champions. For more information visit, www.macgregor-golf.co.uk
