Lee Farrar joins Wilson Golf

Lee Farrar, who has held leading commercial roles with premier golf brands for the past 16 years, has been appointed as Senior Sales Manager at Wilson Golf to direct the field sales team across the UK and Ireland.

Lee, a 6-handicap golfer based in Nottinghamshire, was Head of Field Sales and Strategics for the UK and Ireland market at various times at TaylorMade adidas Golf (2008-2015) and General Manager for Ashworth UK (2005-2007). He first joined TaylorMade adidas in 2000 as Area Sales Manager in the Midlands, having worked in both the golf and electrical retail sectors.

“It’s a very exciting time for me to be joining Wilson Golf,” said Lee. “The brand, the heritage and the range are all exceptional and there are many innovations yet to come that will engage with consumers and retailers alike. There are a lot of opportunities for us over the next few years and with consumers demanding the latest technologies, I’m convinced that Wilson Golf will not disappoint”.

At Wilson Golf, he will be responsible for directing the sales team behind the latest Wilson Staff range of products, including the C200 irons, FG Tour F5 driver and fairway woods and hybrid, PMP wedges and Infinite putters, plus DX2 Soft and DX3 Urethane low compression balls.

“We are delighted to have someone of Lee’s caliber join us in such an important role for the brand,” said Doug Wright, Global Commercial Director at Wilson Golf. “He adds invaluable experience of the domestic golf industry in terms of hardware and apparel which we and our customers can only benefit from.”
