Intellectual property of iconic golf brands for sale

The intellectual property assets of a range of iconic golf brands are on sale from Metis Partners, an award-winning, commercial intellectual property consulting firm.

The brands available for sale include John Letters, Hotblade, Golden Goose, Silver Swan, Golf Locker, Jaxx, Master Model, Progen, Chromo, Haema, Red Eye, Swingmaster, and Trilogy.

In 1949, eight of Great Britain and Ireland’s 10-man Ryder Cup team used John Letters’ clubs, thereby contributing an iconic heritage to the brand. Approximately £2.5million in annual revenue in recent years has been associated with the John Letters brand.

Hotblade-branded products have been designed to deliver outstanding feel, balance and performance and have been endorsed by top players including three times Open Championship winner, Nick Faldo.

We are thrilled to be bringing these brands to the market, having already received enquiries and interest from businesses operating in this space based internationally.”

The IP assets include: goodwill in many of the brands, registered trademarks, branded websites and registered domain names. The deadline for offers is Wednesday 25th November 2015 at noon.
