IGTM generates travel business

International Golf Travel Market (IGTM), estimates it has helped generate more than €79 million worth of business for the golf travel industry since 2012. Post-event analysis undertaken by show organisers Reed Travel Exhibitions revealed that, over the past three editions of IGTM, the event has attracted an average of 364 pre-qualified buyers per year. The study also shows that 31 percent of attending buyers negotiated between €50,000 and €200,000 worth of business, while 17 percent placed more than €200,000, as a direct result of attending the exhibition.

The appointment-based event, which this year is being held at the Magma Conference Centre, Tenerife, from 5 to 8 October, will enable in excess of 10,000 scheduled meetings to take place.

Peter Grimster, IGTM exhibition manager said, “We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and enhance the business and networking opportunities of IGTM. So, to see our efforts translate into the generation of more than €79 million in business since 2012 is outstanding and reinforces the event’s importance to the entire golf travel industry.” More at: www.igtm.co.uk
