Halloween golf at Quinta do Lago

Quinta do Lago is set to celebrate its 45th anniversary in style with a fun-packed autumn itinerary of family fun to ensure the summer continues into the final months of the year.

Renowned for delivering an array of luxury experiences in the tranquil setting of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, families can enjoy numerous sporting, social and family events between now and November at the famous Algarve venue, with the resort’s Paul McGinley Golf Academy being at the heart of the Halloween antics.

Benefiting from an all-year round temperate climate, younger guests are in for a delicious treat thanks to a Halloween programme that includes a haunted dinner at Casa do Lago, a brunch at Bovino steakhouse and an Alice in Wonderland tea party at Pure.

The family fun does not stop there thanks to a scary golf and costume parade where children can really get in the spirit of things by dressing up as vampires, villains, princeses and dinosaurs as well as take part in a Peddy paper race.

There will also be a host of entertainment at the Campus on Halloween day where youngsters can burn off steam with a series of tennis and padel games under the supervison of Quinta do Lag’s qualified staff, leaving parents some quality time to enjoy for themselves.

The resort’s golf academy will be staging a number of junior camps from October 23 to October 27.  Available to children aged five to 16 and taking place from Monday to Friday over a three-week period, the sessions offer a comprehensive week’s coaching in a fun and competitive environment.

The official winter training base for England Golf’s elite squads and situated just 15 minutes from Faro airport, Quinta do Lago’s three championship courses are matched by outstanding practice facilities including Europe’s only Paul McGinley Golf Academy and the only TaylorMade Performance Center in Southern Europe.
