Golf Pride proud at Whistling Straits

Golf Pride Grips claims it was leading grip brand played by tour and PGA professionals at the 93rd PGA Championship. The company states that the overwhelming majority, 121 players, competing in the year’s final major used Golf Pride grips.

Golf Pride’s popular Tour Velvet family of grips were used by 75 players at Whistling Straits making it more popular than all other grip companies combined. Golf Pride’s second most popular grips in play were its MCC family with 27 players using the hybrid cord and rubber technology. As well as tour pros the 2015 PGA Championship field included 20 PGA professionals in its field, 19 of whom used Golf Pride grips

Brandon Sowell, global sales and marketing director for Golf Pride commented, “Both tour pros and PGA pros competing in the 93rd PGA Championship trusted their games to Golf Pride this weekend. While we are thrilled to have such wide support among the world’s best players, it is truly rewarding to see that 19 of 20 PGA professionals, the lifeblood of the game and those entrusted with teaching the game to amateurs throughout the country, understand the significant performance advantages Golf Pride provides their game.” More at: www.golfpride.com
