Golf Genius manages one millionth round

It has been announced that Golf Genius has managed over one million rounds of golf around the world. Ranging from large corporate golf days to weekly club swindles, the Golf Genius system offers an enhanced experience for both visitors and members, and has been used by customers in over 50 countries to host over 25,000 events in the last 12 months.

Used by over 30 different clubs and event organisers around the UK, Golf Genius provides fully-featured cloud-based software for organising and managing golf events, leagues, and trips, with tools ranging from online registration, website management, live scoring, and printed materials.

“Through Club Car, Golf Genius has provided us with the perfect combination of saving time and enhancing the experience we can offer to our guests.” stated Anna Darnell, Director of Golf Operations at The Grove.

“The ability to create a branded tournament website, personalised printed materials including score cards and pin positions, and the management of entries through the easy to use online portal has dramatically increased our efficiency in delivering a first class golf event.”

Another venue to have adopted the cloud-based product is European Tour venue Abu Dhabi Golf Club, with Golf Events Manager, Jack Emerson, commenting, “Golf Genius has been one of the best received systems the club has seen for its golf events. From the users perspective it has saved what felt like an endless amount of time with event prep and with the ability to customise all necessary documents, it’s meant that the attention to detail is never lost.

“Using Golf Genius for live scoring and event updates has brought a whole new level of interaction between players on the course, to which we as a facility have received very positive feedback. As a Troon managed facility, it really enables us to deliver the best tournament experience possible,” continued Emerson.

Clubs interested in improving their golf day experience and green fee revenues can now take advantage of a free Golf Genius demonstration by contacting Craig Higgs at craig@golfgenius.com.
