Golf apparel experts line up to support New Venture Active portfolio

New Venture Active is delighted to announce a series of appointments to its sales force and, with a wealth of industry experience, these names are set to make a huge impact with the company’s growing portfolio of brands. This announcement is the first in a series of appointments that will support the brand portfolio and ultimately increase distribution through the UK and Europe.

Joining the company in the newly created role of Group Sales Manager is Tony Wilkinson. Having held senior management positions at Greg Norman, Lyle and Scott, Dunlop Slazenger and Ashworth his knowledge of the European and International golf apparel business is unquestionable. His appointment reunites Wilkinson with Jon Camp, who were part of the team that was instrumental in re-establishing the Ashworth brand in the noughties.

Wilkinson commented, “I am excited to be joining New Venture. Each of the brands offers a great opportunity for growth. Sunice is known for its exceptional outerwear ranges, but the opportunity lies in the development of a new lifestyle range for the European market. PGA TOUR apparel is really exciting as it combines a great name with affordable prices. It is bound to appeal to retailers. I can’t wait to get started.”

Also bolstering the sales team line up are Damian Vaughan who will look after both brands in Ireland and Gary Castles who has been representing both brands in Scotland since late last year.

Managing Director Jon Camp commented, “I’m delighted to be working with Tony again. Bringing him into the company is a real coup for us. These fantastic brands need the support of the best sales people, which is why we have also appointed Damian and Gary. 2016 is an exciting year for us and I am really looking forward to seeing how the season progresses.”
