Foresight Sports Europe appoint new EMEA Sales Manager

Foresight Sports Europe, the market leader in golf launch monitors and simulation technology, has appointed James Stewart as its new EMEA Sales Manager.

James, who has been based at the company’s European headquarters in Guildford since joining last year, will now assume responsibility for increasing sales and developing a strong distributor and agency network throughout Europe and the wider EMEA region.

A 6-handicap golfer, who holds a BSc Degree in Sports Management from Bournemouth University and took the Golf Managers’ Training Course in 2012, he has gained wide experience across the golf industry in recent years. This includes working at Canford Magna and Barton-on-Sea golf clubs; being a Nevada Bob store sales assistant; a Leadership Network Co-ordinator with The Golf Foundation; and, more recently, an Area Sales Manager with Huxley Golf supplying premium putting greens and nets to UK golf clubs and ranges.

“This range of experience has been the ideal preparation for my new role in replicating the rapid growth achieved in the UK across other European markets,” said James. “I aim to build on the success of the GC2 / HMT launch monitor and fully immersive golf simulators by opening up new sales opportunities and enhancing existing business relationships. And I’m really excited about introducing the only launch monitor system that works both indoors and outdoors with the same accuracy and so is perfect for the region’s harsh winters.”

According to Director Ed Doling, the new appointment heralds an acceleration of the brand’s reach into even more golfing markets. “Since joining us last year, James has shown how much he can contribute to the growth of the company and we now have the team in place to maximise sales opportunities with exceptional products and unrivalled customer support wherever the demand comes from.”
