FootJoy launch new VersaLuxe

In meeting the increasing demand for spikeless shoes that can be worn seamlessly on and off the golf course, FootJoy has launched a premium model named VersaLuxe that becomes its most versatile ever brought to market.

The new VersaLuxe allows golfers to experience a spikeless shoe that performs both on and off the golf course, whilst being waterproof and available in over 20 different size and width options. Made from the finest luxurious calfskin leather, VersaLuxe symbolises the height of quality and craftsmanship, and caters for fashion-conscious golfers who want a shoe for every occasion.

Joining other popular models in FootJoy’s spikeless range such as DryJoys Casual and Contour Casual, the VersaLuxe shoe is designed to offer outstanding comfort. A genuine cork covered, ultra-comfortable fit-bed offers a sensational fit, while premium leather linings and a suede inner-heel no-slip pocket provide even more comfort. Golfers can be assured of protection from the rain with VersaLuxe thanks to premium, super soft SuppleLuxe leather by Pittards of England which comes with a one year waterproof warranty.

“VersaLuxe has been designed as a premium golf shoe that can be worn just as effectively on and off the course,” said Richard Fryer, Sales and Marketing Director for FootJoy. “It’s got the luxury soft feel of premium leather, but importantly it’s waterproof, making it a high performance product, and is available in 23 different size and width options.

“As we’ve seen with other models like DryJoys Casual, spikeless shoes have proven to be a significant growth area in recent years, however we’ve made a point of not sacrificing performance in these models,” added Fryer. “We see VersaLuxe as the perfect model for those who want to wear the same shoe on the course, in the clubhouse and even in the pub or restaurant at night time.”

The new VersaLuxe is available in four colour choices: Luggage Caramello, Luggage Black, Chalky Black and Chalky Off White. A tonal lace option is also included. The new shoe is available from March and had an RRP of £140.
