Europe’s first fleet of X9 trolleys

British trolley manufacturer Stewart Golf have announced Europe’s first fleet of X9 Follows with Austria’s prestigious Kitzbühel Golf Club taking delivery of 30 machines.

Stewart Golf CEO Mark Stewart visited Kitzbühel and met staff and members of the golf club to gather feedback on the fleet. Every machine was handbuilt at Stewart Golf’s new factory in Great Britain and fitted with their individual fleet number to allow easy identification.

While at the club Mark spoke to Martin Kerscher, President of Kitzbühel GC and golf industry stalwart. When asked why he chose the X9 Follow for Kitzbühel he replied: “They are the best golf trolleys you can have. They have everything we need.”

The versatility of the X9 Follow’s design fits perfectly with the course layout and landscape. With several water features, bridges and undulating terrain, the ability to easily switch to remote mode allows players to negotiate the course with ease.

One particular challenge for golf trolleys in Austria is the dramatic terrain in which courses often sit. Kitzbühel Golf club is no different; set in the beautiful Alps with amazing scenery, it offers golfers some of the most idyllic playing conditions worldwide.

CEO Mark Stewart said: “We are delighted to deliver this fleet to such a prestigious golf club. The premium nature of the X9 Follow means that it is not usually an option for most clubs to purchase a fleet, and even fewer to provide them free of charge to members.”

Due the popularity of the X9 Follow at Kitzbühel Golf Club, the fleet of X9 Follows looks set to grow in the near future to ensure they are always available for members to use. The fleet is stored and maintained at the golf club.
