Close House to host 2017 British Masters

Close House has confirmed it will be hosting the 2017 British Masters. The venue, located in the north-east of England, recently uploaded a special section onto its website, with information on the tournament, its history, and how to register interest for tickets.

“We are proud to have been chosen as the official venue of the British Masters in 2017, supported by Sky Sports,” read the release. “The event will be hosted by none other than Lee Westwood, our attached tour professional and former world No.1.”

As soon as it was announced that Westwood would be hosting the tournament in 2017, following in the footsteps of Ian Poulter at Woburn in 2015 and Luke Donald at The Grove this year, it was always likely that it’d be heading to Close House where he is their attached tour professional.
