Casual Hybrid added to Ecco range

Ecco has announced its new Casual Hybrid range said to combine trend-setting silhouettes, premium materials and advanced performance technologies. The range is offered in a sneaker version for men as well as modern-classic brogue options for men and women. Each is highly water repellent using proprietary Ecco Hydromax treatment.

To be showcased alongside the Spring/Summer 2015 collection, the Casual Hybrid provides the option for extra width through a special leather inlay sole. It is built on the patented E-DTS outsole, which has approximately 100 moulded traction bars delivering nearly 800 traction angles. Constructed from TPU, a highly durable, wear-resistant material, these elements promote grip.

Like all Ecco golf shoes, Casual Hybrid models are made at company-owned factories using the Direct-injection Process. This bonds the upper and outsole unit, creating a one-piece shoe construction without the use of glue or stitching. Benefits include a firm, water-tight seal and lightweight flexibility.

Michael Waack, head of global golf at Ecco said, “The pioneering spirit that led us to introduce the first hybrid footwear in golf continues to drive our innovations season after season. These exciting new shoes pair tour-proven technologies with the most attractive designs and richest materials.” Sneaker and ladies RRP: £100; wingtip (pictured): £110. More at: www.ecco.com/golf
