Following on from a 50 per cent growth in European footwear sales during 2015 Callaway has unveiled its 2016 footwear collection, the company’s most advanced range to date.

Designed to accurately address a range of playing styles and to help every golfer get the most out of their game, Callaway’s 2016 range includes 41 different shoe styles and colour combinations, which are split into four technologically advanced sub-collections – X Series, Chev Series, Del Mar Series and Sky Series.

Headlining Callaway’s 2016 footwear is the Xfer Nitro, a signature shoe which is fully loaded with technology, including the Force Flex Control Channels and the Big Bertha Power Cleat, ensuring a solid contact with the ground and an enhancement of power during the golf swing.

Also incorporated within the Xfer Nitro shoe is a memory fold heel tab designed to make it easier to put the shoe on and a soft, high-performance Clarino microfibre upper and 3D Ortholite Footbed which guarantees 18 holes of comfort.

Duncan Patmore, Callaway’s European Footwear Manager, said: “We feel the 2016 collection pushes the boundaries of performance to ensure we enable golfers to build a better game from the ground up. We have concentrated on the finer details with the 2016 range, using state-of-the-art technology to help golfers focus on their game.”

The 2016 range also includes the most technologically advanced women’s golf shoe Callaway has ever produced, the Halo Pro. With a full grain leather and lightweight microfibre combination upper, alongside a moulded outsole with Callaway PINS Comfort Cleats, the shoe delivers a blend of ultra-lightweight performance and style demanded by female golfers.
