Callaway goes Chrome Soft

Callaway has introduced the Chrome Soft golf ball, with a proprietary SoftFast Core, 65 low compression and a Tour Urethane cover. Callaway says this gives low spin off the tee for high ball speed and distance. It also lets players compress the ball on iron shots for a soft feel, and provides excellent control and consistency for aggressive shots into the green.

The company states, “No other ball combines all of these things in one package and our optimised aerodynamics makes it fly even better in all conditions. With Chrome Soft, you don’t have to choose between feel and hitting it further anymore. This is the ball that changed the ball.” The Chrome Soft has an RRP of £29.99 for a dozen.
