Callaway announce staffers for 2016 Tour season

Following its best ever year on the PGA European Tour with 13 tournament victories, Callaway has announced its full 2016 European Staff Professional line-up.

Nineteen players form #TeamCallaway including 2015 European Tour Race to Dubai runner-up Danny Willett, two-time winners last year, Thomas Pieters and Kiradech Aphibarnrat and five other Staff Professionals who tasted success in 2015 – James Morrison, Alex Noren, Pablo Larrazábal, David Horsey and Kristoffer Broberg.

They will be joined by fellow Staff Professionals Marc Warren, Matteo Manassero, Oliver Wilson, Thomas Bjorn, Gary Boyd, Alvaro Quiros, Chris Paisley, Craig Lee, Matt Baldwin and Sebastien Gros and new signings, Welshman Stuart Manley and French professional Thomas Linard.

#TeamCallaway will be looking to continue the hardware dominance from last season which saw it top the ‘most wins’ table as the #1 brand in categories including Driver (17 wins), Fairway Wood (20 wins), Hybrid (9 wins), Utility Iron (7 wins), Irons (14 wins),Wedges (45 wins) and Odyssey Putters (21 wins).

In other recent Callaway Tour news, this week also marks the announcement of Marc Leishman and eight-time Major champion Tom Watson joining the company as Staff Professionals for 2016. Both Leishman and Watson will use Callaway Clubs, a Callaway Golf Ball and an Odyssey Putter.

Callaway can also confirm the re-signing of Swede, Henrik Stenson, and South African, Branden Grace. Grace, along with fellow Staff Professional, Argentinian Emiliano Grillo, will switch from the PGA European Tour to play their golf on the US PGA Tour in 2016.
