Boss watch for junior ace

Philip Brown, a10 year old junior golfer from Dundee, has scored a hole-in-one at Monifieth’s Ashludie course. His ace came on the 143 yard, par-three sixth hole using a three-wood, and the 24 handicapper was rewarded with membership of the exclusive Boss Watches H1 Club and a limited-edition, specially-commissioned, commemorative timepiece. Philip’s achievement was watched by his father, also called Philip, and golf coach Kenny Hutton as well as another 20 witnesses.

Philip Brown senior commented, “It’s a fantastic achievement for him, and I’m absolutely over the moon. On the Friday before the hole-in-one, he got some other great news, as well. He had been selected for the Angus County under-14s. We’re really proud of him.”
