Bettinardi putters on parade at PGA events

Putters from the latest Bettinardi hand-crafted range were trialled by PGA professionals from the South Region competing in recent Virgin Atlantic Order of Merit ‘Q’ School events held at Sand Martins, Mid Kent and Kingswood golf clubs.

Bettinardi has become an Associate of the PGA (South) Region and the brand was keen to put many of its newest models in the hands of playing professionals, so they can gauge the quality and precision of the putter for themselves.

A total of 15 putters of varying lengths in blade, mallet and counterbalance options from the Bettinardi Studio Stock, Queen B, iNOVAi and BB Series were put to the test on the practice putting greens by PGA professionals and club members alike.

“We were able to reach nearly 200 PGA members in the South Region with our presentation on the putting greens and the response from them and club members at the three venues was very positive,” said Bijal Patani, Director of Bettinardi Putters distributor JS International.

Matt Kuchar, one of the world’s most consistent Tour players, has played with a Bettinardi putter for several years and pioneered the famous Arm-Lock technique to great effect.
