Adams Golf announces new Tight Lies range

Adams Golf has announced new Tight Lies fairway woods and hybrids featuring the company’s fifth generation of its ‘Slot Technology’. In contrast to previous models designed with both a sole slot and a crown slot for maximum performance, the new 2015 products are enhanced says Adams Golf by new Ghost Slot Technology, which masks the crown slot to create a clean look at address. The finished product is intended to be appealing to more golfers without sacrificing performance.

The patented Ghost Slot Technology is a new crown slot that is nearly invisible and features a refined ‘barbell’ cut-thru slot design reducing stress on the face while it’s claimed creating even faster ball speeds and higher launch than previous slot iterations.

The overall design includes Tight Lies signature ‘upside-down head shape’ and tri-sole used to create the first ever Tight Lies hybrid. Another new addition to the Tight Lies family is the Tight Lies Titanium fairway wood, featuring a titanium face and crown with a stainless steel sole. Adams Golf states that using a titanium construction and the new Ghost Slot Technology, it has created a fairway wood that reaches the USGA’s limit on spring-like effect.

Tight Lies stainless steel fairway woods and hybrids are supplied with the KuroKage graphite shaft by Mitsubishi Rayon. Tight Lies Titanium will feature the Mitsubishi Bassara Eagle Series graphite shaft.

The Tight Lies fairway wood is available in lofts of 14°, 16°, 19° and 22° with no left-handed 22° model. Tight Lies Titanium will be available in lofts of 13.5°, 15° and 18°, with the 13.5° model being the left-handed exception. The Tight Lies Hybrid will be available in lofts of 17°, 19°, 22°, 25° and 28°. There will not be 17°, 25° or 28° left-handed models.

Tight Lies fairway woods and hybrids will be available from October and will have a retail price of £149 and £129, respectively. Tight Lies Titanium will have a retail price of £199. More at: www.adamsgolf.eu
